Within Temptation has what is described as a symphonic metal sound with thoughtful lyrics that is also thought of as gothic

metal by some, but they are truly outstanding with the sweet and dynamic vocals by Sharon Den Adel fronting a tight powerful and melodic band… the music meshes perfectly with Sharon’s beautiful range of vocals and the Within Temptation instrumentals provide incredible atmosphere throughout.

Within Temptation formed in Holland in 1996 and have now sold over 2 million albums all over the world, and with their touring they are winning over new fans everywhere they play… the stage show is very energetic and the band sounds great live… I was lucky to see Within Temptation play live with Lacuna Coil and they captivated the entire audience with their performance and stage presence… they have a special chemistry that shines and lyrics that stir the emotions.

In 2008 Within Temptation has filmed a special Black Symphony concert in the Netherlands with a choir and the Metropole Orchestra in front of 10,000 fans which will be released on DVD and CD…. we are hoping to see a new album in 2009 from the band.
