Lacuna Coil Live

Lacuna Coil are an amazing band from Italy that have a great hard sound and tons of personality and greatness in their lineup. I was lucky to see Lacuna Coil play live in a smaller venue and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Cristina, Andrea, Pizza, Maus, Marco, Criz have chemistry, they’ve been together from the beginning and the whole thing works and makes Lacuna Coil special. Lacuna Coil shouldn’t be labelled tightly, you could call them Goth Metal or Alt Metal if you wanted, they definitely have a heavier sound that fits the metal genre but their music is popular with a wide range of listeners.

Every Lacuna Coil album have the Lacuna Coil sound to them, but they are each individual classics in the mood and feel…. Cristina Scabbia with her angelic voice contrasting perfectly with Andrea Ferro and his lower tones, with the incredible music lines that define the songs played solid tight by the rest of the band… Lacuna Coil’s songs all stand out with individuality and grace.  Lacuna Coil sing most of their songs in English, with only a few in Italian, but the very slight accent in Cristina and Andrea’s voices adds an exotic feel to the music that works so well, and the Italian songs are intriguing to our english ears, making us want to learn more of this beautiful Italian language.
