Implant - Be Industrial
Flass came across Implant which is a great industrial experimental electronic techno dance band from Belgium and we were blown away by the great video for their song “The Creature”, which features Jean-Luc de Meyer of Front242…. it is an amazing quirky video with such a unique sound. Implant has a sound that defies pinpointing, with other great songs such as Chanson d’amour, which is in French and reminded me of a bit of a wumpscut feel, but maybe more relaxing and trance moody, the vocals really remind me of Eclipse Kaelte mix and it is really cool I must say…
Implant was founded by Len Lemeire and have released on Alfa Matrix record label. Implant early beginnings were in 1992 with a first single released in 1996 titled “Fun” and a full album the same year…. they have now released 7 albums and are doing some club dates in Europe late in 2008…
